KNITTED PILLOWS

Buon pomeriggio, 
oggi pubblico le foto dei cuscini che abbiamo recentemente realizzato. 
Parlo al plurale visto che la progettazione e la modalità di lavorazione dei cuscini che vi sto per mostrare le ho seguite personalmente, ma poi la lavorazione ai ferri è stata fatta da mia mamma. 
Ho imparato anch'io da bambina a lavorare ai ferri, ma, aihmè, non è una delle lavorazioni manuali che prediligo... 
Per questo motivo ho preferito lasciare l'operato a mani ben più esperte ;o) 

Good afternoon, 
today I wish to post some pictures of decorative pillows we have recently realized. 
I'm speaking in the plural as the design and the way of working that I'm going to show you, were folled by me personally. Then the real knitting was done by my mother. 
When I was a child I lernt to knit too, but, unfortunately, this is not one of my favourite handworks.... 
for this reason I preferred to leave the job to much more experienced hands... ;o)

ROSES

Ciao a tutti! 

qui la primavera è iniziata solo sul calendario, visto che da allora abbiamo avuto solo alcune giornate belle, mentre per il resto è sempre stato brutto...! Ha piovuto molto e le temperature sono scese quasi fossimo in autunno, per non dire inverno...! 

Tuttavia la natura si sta lentamente risvegliando e i fiori hanno iniziato a sbocciare. 

Ieri è stata una giornata abbastanza soleggiata e in previsione della pioggia in arrivo per oggi, ho deciso di fare una composizione con le mie rose preferite. 

Oltre ad essere rosa, che trovo essere un colore molto romantico, ha tutte queste sfumature che vanno dal panna fino ad arrivare ad un rosa anche piuttosto forte. 

In un primo momento volevo fare una composizione mista, con anche degli inserti verdi, ma poi, visti tutti insieme questi boccioli, mi hanno letteralmente incantata e così ho lasciato tutto completamente di rose. 

Le altre rose che ho reciso, le ho messe in una brocca di latta su un baule coperto con una tovaglia lavorata a filet e ad intaglio realizzata completamente a mano più di settant'anni fa!

Here spring started just on the calendar, as untill now we just had a few sunny days, while the remaining days were always cloudy and rainy. The temperature went down like almost Autumn and even Winter season...!

Anyhow the nature has slowly woken up and flowers have started blooming. 

Yesterday it was almost sunny and since weather forecasting expected rain for today, I decided to prepare a flower arrangement with my favourite roses. 

At first I would like to make a mixed composition, also with some green inserts, but it was amazing looking at all these blossoms together and I was literally enchanted and for this reason I left it completely full of roses. 

I also had some other cutted roses and then I put them in a tin pot placed on a wooden portmanteau with a cloth completely handmade crochet and cut worked more then seventy years ago!

DOLCI PORTACHIAVI

Ciao! 
Anche se arrivo un pò lunga, rieccomi con alcune foto del portachiavi con cupcake inserito con la tecnica dell'appliqué. Durante questo ultimo periodo, naturalmente, non ho solo realizzato questi portachiavi... 
Sicuramente avrò modo di mostrarvi i progetti realizzati con prossimi post. 
Di recente ho acquistato una piccola vetrina che ho posizionato nel mio angolo craft e dove ho riposto vari miei lavori. Tra l'altro è già abbastanza piena e certamente non riuscirò a far stare tutti i miei lavori, però potrò cambiare gli oggetti al suo interno o magari creare degli altri angoli dedicati alle mie passioni... ;-)

Here I am back to you with some pictures of a couple of keyrings with a cupcake on them that I sewed with the appliqué technique. Obviously during these previous weeks I did not make just these keyrings... 
But I will surely have the opportunity to show some other projects with future posts. 
Recently I bought a small glass showcase that I placed in my "craft corner" and in which I placed some jobs of mine. 
It is already almost full and of course I will not be able to put all my craft jobs inside it, but I can change them time to time or maybe create other "corners" dedicated to my hobby... ;-)

Buon pomeriggio!
Rimanendo in argomento cupcake, oggi vi mostro una sagoma in pannolenci a forma di cupcake. 
Ho cercato di ottimizzare il risultato facendo un'impuntura per dare un pò di volume. 
Pubblico anche qualche scatto del mio "angolo dolce" che ho allestito in cucina... 
A breve spero di pubblicare anche un progetto che sto iniziando a realizzare adesso, costituito da un portachiavi in tessuto con cupcake cucito con la tecnica dell'appliqué.

concerning one of my favourite topic, today I show you a cupcake felt shaped. 
I tryed to get the best result making a topstitch to give more volume. 
I'm posting also some pictures of my "sweet corner" that I prepared in my kitchen... 
I hope to show you soon also another new project that I'm starting right now. 
It would be a keyring made with fabrics and linen with a cupcake sewed on it with the appliqué technique. 
We will hear each other soon.

S. VALENTINE'S DAY

Ciao! 
... e per un S. Valentino che si rispetti, ecco un cuscino a forma di cuore con rouches nelle nuances del bianco, panna e rosa che mi è stato richiesto, pronto per essere consegnato alla persona del cuore! 
Ho scoperto queste tecnica semplice ma di gran effetto visitando dei siti Web esteri. Mi piace molto il volume che si crea :-)
Felice festa degli innamorati a tutti coloro che si amano, che si vogliono bene e che trascorrono e condividono le proprie giornate e la propria quotidianità con l'altra metà anche durante tutti i giorni dell'anno!

For a respectable S. Valentine's day, here a heart-shaped pillow with felt rouches in white, cream and pink shades. I was requested for it and it is now ready to be given to the person in love. 
I discovered this simple, but impact tecnique, visiting some foreign Web sites. I like the volume it makes ;-) 
I wish a nice S. Valentine's day to all those who love each other and spend and share with their lover the everyday life all the year long ;-)

SOFTY HEART

Ciao! 
vista la mia passione per gli oggetti a forma di cuore, ho appena terminato questo cuore in lino nei colori tenui e delicati del rosa antico con l'applicazione di rose in Sangallo e di perline appese per rifinire il tutto. 
Sul retro, dove ho applicato il nastro per appendere il cuore stesso, ho usato un bottoncino per fissare il nastro. 
L'idea l'ho tratta dallo Speciale Creare "La bottega di Elisa" - Edizioni Lumina dal quale attingerò idee anche per altri progetti molto carini che ha proposto!

Since my weakness for subjects in heart shape, I have just ended this heart made with this gentle and delicate nuances of rose in linen and with the application of roses in Sangallo cotton and some beads suspended and this pink ribbon to complete it. 
On the back, where I fixed the hanging ribbon, 
I used a little button to fix and finish it. 
I took this idea from a magazine called Speciale Creare "La bottega di Elisa" - Edizioni Lumina from which I will surely took interesting ideas for other really cute projects!

SIMPLY SWEET

Ciao, 
in primo luogo auguro un felice e prosperoso anno nuovo a tutti! 
Spero che abbiate trascorso delle serene festività natalizie ;-) 
Nelle due ultime settimane ho voluto fare qualche campionatura di nuovi progetti. 
oggi vi mostro dei semplici cupcakes realizzati con del Sangallo color beige e una perlina rossa a far da ciliegina. Colori che richiamano molto le festività appena trascorse, che si possono appendere - come in questo caso - o che si possono utilizzare senza nastro come oggettistica o segnaposto.

During last couple of weeks I made some samples of new projects. 
Today I would like to show you some simple cupcakes made with a beige Sangallo and a read bead as a llittle cherry. These colours recall in some way the season holidays just passed on. 
They can be hung, as in this case, or they can be used without ribbon as ornament or placemark.
